Can I borrow $100?

“I only ended up there because of you.”

That’s what my friend said after attending a reunion at the school that changed her life.

She told me how powerful it was to be back—seeing the students, reconnecting with her teachers, and feeling the love of that community. She was glowing.

I had no idea what she meant.

I didn’t even remember she’d gone to that school, let alone that I had anything to do with it.

And I was like, “What are you talking about?”

According to her (and we’re gonna trust her on this one cause my memory is crap and it does sound like something I would do):

About 15 years ago, I had just found this energy healer. Their work had really helped me, and I had this strong, unshakable intuition that my friend needed to go see them too. But I knew if I just told her to go, she might brush it off or think it wasn’t worth spending the money.

So instead, I called her up and said, “Can I borrow $100?”
When she said of course, I admitted the lie.

“Actually, I don’t need it. I need you to spend it on this healer for a session, because I think they can help you.”

And she did it. She went.
She had a powerful experience, then asked the healer where they trained, and that’s how she found the school.

Since then, she’s built a whole practice and business using those tools. She met a community she loves. And she’s been walking a path that’s deeply aligned with who she is. She was so grateful, and it blew my mind.

Because I never thought it would go that far.

I just wanted her to get some support in that moment. But it ended up shifting the whole trajectory of her life.

And it reminded me:
We really don’t know the impact we’re having.
We don’t know what moment is going to stick.
We don’t know what small act is going to unlock something massive.

Especially now, when things feel heavy or pointless or like nothing we do makes a dent, I just want to say:
Keep going.
Keep showing up in the weird, intuitive, imperfect, brilliant ways that only you can.

Because even if you don’t see the results right away, your contribution matters.
And chances are, it’s already doing way more than you realize.

Trust that the universe has a bigger plan than the one you can see (because even if it doesn’t, your life will be better for it).

And keep moving.

Courage, truth, and infinite love,

PS: I run a program where over the course of 13 weeks, I teach you how to reclaim your magic, connect to Spirit, and transform your life, step by sacred step. Enrollment is about to open for the fall, so get on the list to be the first to claim your spot when doors open.

I don’t believe in magic, but I know that it works!

Magic is not a belief system, it’s a practice that works. Don’t believe me? Come try it out. If it doesn’t work, you lose nothing. But if it does… your dream life is about to begin!

Have you ever had a moment so beautiful it made you believe again? I just returned from Europe, and in the midst of global chaos, I got to experience something that reminded me of what's real and holy. The nearly finished Sagrada Familia in Barcelona is this wild, towering church that’s been under construction for over a hundred years. It was designed by Gaudí, who was kind of a mystical genius who saw the divine fingerprints of nature everywhere. He once said something like, “Nature is...

Hi Reader, The other day, I watched a little girl fall while running around in the park. For a split second, she looked shocked. And then she exploded into tears and ran to her mom. That was her first instinct: to express her pain and ask for care and comfort. And she received it. Instantly. That moment stayed with me because of the simple truth it held: a child knows what they need and deserve. She didn’t calculate whether her pain was valid enough to warrant attention. She didn’t say...

Hi Reader, You’ve probably heard the phrase “doing shadow work.”But what is the shadow, anyway, and why does it matter for magic? The idea of the shadow is ancient. Across spiritual traditions, from Egypt to Tibet to the Americas, initiates were taught that wholeness required more than prayer, sacrifice, or devotion. You had to face the parts of yourself you wanted to ignore. The rage, shame, fear, doubt. Not to get rid of them. But to integrate them. To reclaim the power you exiled. It’s all...
