F*ck Belief—Here’s What Actually Matters

I get this question a lot:

Do I need to believe in something for spirituality to work?

And my answer? No.

You don’t need to believe in a god, an angel, an ancestor, or a cosmic force. You don’t need to believe in karma, divine timing, or the law of attraction. You don’t even need to believe in magic.

The only thing you really need to believe in is yourself.

And not in the “Go get ‘em, champ!” motivational-poster way. Not even in the “Trust yourself” kind of way. I mean in the simplest, most undeniable way.

Do you have a pulse?
Yes?
Then you exist.
And if you exist, then you are.
That’s it.

That’s all the proof you need to start a spiritual life.

Because spirituality isn’t about having a relationship with some external, all-powerful force—whether it’s “Sky Daddy” or “Mama Earth” (though you can if that’s your thing).

It’s about something much deeper.

It’s about your relationship with you.

Not the version of you that overthinks and worries. Not the one that spirals in self-doubt or gets stuck in old patterns. Not even the one that dreams big, sets goals, and wants to “become the best version” of themselves.

It’s about the part of you that is always there. The part that has been breathing for you since the moment you were born, keeping your heart beating without your permission, digesting your food, growing your hair, healing your wounds—whether you’re aware of it or not.

That part of you that just is.

And here’s where things get really interesting:

That part? It’s not your mind. It’s not your emotions. It’s not your body, your sensations, your thoughts, or your actions.

It’s all of that and none of that at the same time.

It’s the you beneath the you.

The part that exists before you think a thought. The part that is still there even when your mind is racing. The part that, when everything else falls away—when life feels like too much, when you feel like too much—is still holding you up.

If the idea of belief is messing with your head, let me offer this:

Think about the most important things in your life. The ones that truly matter.

Love.
Connection.
Peace.
A sense of belonging.
Purpose.

None of those things are things. You can’t hold them in your hand. They aren’t sitting on a shelf waiting to be bought. They exist, yet they aren’t objects.

The same is true for the deepest, most powerful resource you have access to.

It’s not out there. It’s not something external. It’s not something you have to earn or prove yourself worthy of.

It’s already within you.

It’s infinite.
It’s self-regenerating.
It’s always available.

And no, I’m not talking about calling on spirit guides, angels, or ancestors (though you can, and that’s a different conversation).

I’m talking about something even closer than that.

The great, beautiful, untouchable mystery that lives inside you. The one that nourishes you, supports you, and guides you—especially in those moments when you feel lost, scared, or stuck (which, let’s be honest, is most of the time).

The more you practice connecting with this part of yourself—the one that isn’t you, yet is completely your essence—the easier life gets.

The more magical it becomes.

You gain access to divine guidance without needing a middleman.
You start trusting your intuition like it’s a lifelong friend.
You move through the world with more ease, clarity, and confidence.

And you don’t have to meditate for hours or retreat to the mountains to tap into it.

It starts simply.

Sit quietly.
Pay attention.
Notice what’s there beyond your feelings, beyond your thoughts, beyond your sensations.

That presence? That awareness?

That’s the foundation of a spiritual life.

No belief required. No ritual needed. No initiation necessary.

Just you. As you already are.

Courage, truth, and infinite love,

I don’t believe in magic, but I know that it works!

Magic is not a belief system, it’s a practice that works. Don’t believe me? Come try it out. If it doesn’t work, you lose nothing. But if it does… your dream life is about to begin!

Hi Reader, Birth, death, and rebirth are the natural order of life. They’re not optional. They’re not metaphors. They are Reality—with a capital R. Everything that lives follows this rhythm.People. Plants. Animals. Ecosystems. Beliefs. Movements. Organizations. Even economies. And yet, we’ve built a world that clings to only one part of the cycle: birth and growth. The rise. The expansion. The illusion of limitless “more.” We try to skip the death part entirely. We pretend endings are failures....

Dear Reader, Two days ago, around 10 a.m., I stepped outside and looked up at the sky.She looked unreal. Not metaphorically—literally.A perfect crescent moon, drawn with such precision it felt like someone had painted her there.Hanging in the South, her round edge facing East. So flawless, so still. And she’d be gone by the weekend. Something about that moment hit me.Staring at that moon—the same one I’ve been looking at for half a century—every cell in my body whispered a truth I couldn’t...

Hey Reader, Have you ever found yourself completely shocked and pissed off when someone does the exact opposite of what they are supposed to stand for? Maybe it was the feminist leader who made blatantly sexist comments in a staff meeting. Or the director of a financial empowerment nonprofit who turned out to be stealing money. Or the spiritual guide who preached integrity and alignment, and turned out to be involved in some sleazy scandal. It doesn’t just feel wrong—it feels personal. You...
