I have some equinox magic for you

Today is the equinox.

The exact moment when day and night are equal, and starting tomorrow, the light begins to win.

Yay!!

We’re officially entering my favorite time of the year. I love the night, but I’ve never felt like I needed extra hours of it to do my witchy, nocturnal things. I’m always ready for more daylight.

And every year around this time, I find myself thinking about balance. Where in my life do things actually feel good and in the right proportion right now?

And where is that not true?

Where is there a little too much of something?

Where is there not enough?

The equinox asks those questions whether you're paying attention or not. Nature doesn't wait for you to be ready.

These simple questions let me see pretty clearly what I want more of over the next few months, and what I’d be very happy to have less of.

And of course, how do I make that happen?

For me, part of what makes this moment powerful is the timing.

The equinox is a great example. I could try to create momentum from scratch today. Or I could align with the momentum that already exists, the literal force of a planet tilting toward the light, and let that do some of the work.

So I’m not pushing against reality in trying to transform it, I’m actually working with it.

That's leverage. That's what a system gives you that intention alone never will.

It’s what I mean when I talk about magic: understanding how to work with what’s already in motion, and how to direct your attention and actions so things actually change.

If you've been circling Liberation Magic and wondering whether this is the moment, it probably is. We start next Wednesday. I teach the full system: how to read what's actually happening in your life, and how to intervene in it in a way that produces real, tangible change.

If it feels like good timing for you, you can join us here:

Either way, take a moment today

Check in honestly.

You’ll probably see more than you expect.

Courage, truth, and infinite love,

I don’t believe in magic, but I know that it works!

Magic is not a belief system, it’s a practice that works. Don’t believe me? Come try it out. If it doesn’t work, you lose nothing. But if it does… your dream life is about to begin!

I got a call last night from a woman who was completely unraveling. She’s been casually dating this guy, mostly texting, hanging out on occasion. And he called her, but she couldn’t take the call. So then he texted: “Hey, can we talk soon? Maybe I can stop by tomorrow.” And that’s what caused this poor soul to almost have a panic attack. She couldn’t take a full breath and her hands were shaking. The story she immediately told herself was: He’s coming over to break up with me. Obviously. Not...

I was driving to meet a friend for lunch the other day, and the car in front of me had a bumper sticker that said rematriate the land. And I'm like, Yeah, right, that's a lovely thought, and also that is going to take a long ass time. For me, as a super impatient person, the most challenging part of living in these times is how long it feels sometimes for humans to get their act together. I know for a fact we're heading in the right direction. It doesn't mean that I think things are going...

Yesterday was my birthday, and this year I finally remembered to take the day off. My partner Jeff and I went to the beach I always say I’m going to, and then I forget, and then I get annoyed at myself because that’s literally the whole point of not having a boss. You get to decide what you do with your time. So the fact that I forget is kind of ridiculous. Anyway, I had a great day. We saw whales! And also, like every other day but especially on my birthday, I think: “We’re all gonna be dead...
